Clinical Engineer & Medical Device Consultant — Certified Medical Device Advisor (§83 MPDG, TÜV) specializing in neurotechnology and AI-driven Medical Devices.
Passionate Clinical Engineer dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence and innovative technologies in medical applications and medical engineering. I believe in the transformative power of technology to revolutionize healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes through intelligent systems and data-driven solutions.
With particular focus on Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) and Neurotechnology, I explore how cutting-edge technologies can bridge the gap between human neurology and assistive devices. During my Master's studies, I gained hands-on experience with computer vision applications and BCI systems, working on projects involving EEG, MEG and EMG signal processing at Charité University's Clinical Neurotechnology Lab.
Currently working at MED-EL as a Clinical Engineer, I combine over 10 years of electrical engineering and medical technology experience from organizations including BMW Group, Arthrex, Fresenius Medical Care, and Charité University. I am also a published author, having contributed a paper on an intelligent optimization algorithm for interior lighting design using MATLAB. My main goal is to understand how innovative technologies can be applied to solve real healthcare problems, creating practical solutions that make a meaningful difference in patient care and medical practice.
